Celebration Mode

Today marks a significant professional milestone for me. Today, after 6 months of training, I earned my certification as a Seasons of Matrescence® Guide! This holds a special place in my heart for a few reasons. First of all, it’s a celebratory accomplishment in and of itself. It’s a testament to my commitment to weekly Zoom calls, guided lessons and loads of reflection. It took me away from my family many evenings; I am so grateful for their support. 

Secondly, this certification is a testament of my commitment to and pursuit of my purpose and passion. Just over two years ago, I discovered the word matrescence, which really was the catalyst for my own journey to and through coaching and now building a business. It has meant a great deal of sacrifice in both time and resources in order to pursue what feels necessary from deep within. I am so proud to have reached this milestone where I can call myself a Seasons of Matrescence® Guide. With this training, a world of opportunity is now available to me. It may be autumn here in Southern Ontario, but I am now in the season of summer where I can return with the gifts of my learning! (How coincidental that it also actually feels like summer outside today!). I am so excited to share my learnings through different offerings that will be available soon.  

Lastly, it is not lost on me that I am earning this certification just days before my eldest child’s 10th birthday. Learning about matrescence at ANY stage of becoming and being a mother can be transformative. For me, at ten years into being a mother, I am determined to spread awareness around what this one word can offer all mothers at any stage. Come along with me if you’re curious to learn more!
